I am so happy to announce that my blog has had a face-lift! It was overdue. The funny part of it is, my bloggy friend Amy helped me figure out how to change the layout tonight, although she has MANY more important things to do right now. She is only a few weeks away from flying to Korea to get her precious baby boy. So the conversation tonight was, "Sure, Kelly, I would LOVE to talk to you at 10:00 at night to help you out with your blog... I have NOTHING else to think about right now! Ha Ha.
But I am very appreciative of her and of all the friends I have met online throughout this journey. The friendships that are created through adoption are just one of God's many blessings that we have received throughout this process.
Just wanted to share a verse we just read in our Bible study yesterday that really encouraged me:
Zephaniah 3:17: "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
I am so thankful that our God is in control of this process! As we continue to wait for our baby girl, we know that He is watching her and protecting her. We can't wait to meet her. I must admit, it's getting harder.... the phone could ring at any point now (our home study has been in Korea 7 months now). But we will try our best to be patient!

It looks fantastic!!!! I love the new look. You crack me with the "sure it's 10:00 comment..." I hope you know I really didn't mind. It was so good to talk to you. I told hubby after I got off that I cannot wait until we can meet in person. We've got to plan something once Lukas is home and we're settled!
I just read your entire blog and I love it! You're a natural writer. I'll be praying for you and Jake as you await meeting her. You may have told me before, but do you guys have a name yet?
